Our Monthly Vision Therapy Program

This is a less common type of vision therapy program.  Most visual conditions require weekly training sessions with a vision therapist for success and rehabilitation.  However, there are some cases and circumstances in which monthly vision therapy can be effective. These typically include young children and infants below the age of 6 years, people with special needs, or people who are significantly affected by primitive reflexes and require more extensive work on the foundational levels of the brain for vision development.

These vision therapy sessions are booked monthly one on one with a vision therapist, in which the training activities are taught. Throughout the month there are 20 to 40 minutes of daily homework, depending on the needs of the person.

Progress is assessed every three months, and overseen by the prescribing doctor.

Eye Exam

THROUGHOUT THE MONTH THERE ARE 20 TO 40 MINUTES OF DAILY HOMEWORK, DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF THE PERSON.
