Dr. Lisa Chow, BSc OD
Optometrist in Neuro-Visual Rehabilitation and Development

“The moment I witnessed a patient who had a brain injury be able to balance themselves simply by wearing special lenses in their glasses, I knew that as an Optometrist, I can do so much more than meet the eyes. With will, dedication, and, vision and spectacle therapy, we have the opportunity to help people of all ages uncover their highest visual potential. This does not only apply to TBI patients, but to children or adults who have learning related vision problems. It brings me tremendous joy and gratitude to be able to help those who never fully experienced functional vision or who lost it through an injury.”
Dr. Lisa Chow completed her Advanced studies in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy and Doctor of Optometry Degree at Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and a member of Vision Therapy Canada. She is pursuing her Fellowship in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation with NORA and has pursued specialized training in vision development with the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF). Kate Hennessy
Insurance Coordinator
Administrative Assistant

“It isn’t often in one’s lifetime to come across a company whose values and authenticity resonate in such a way that it’s a joy to come to work each day! I was at a time in my life where just having a “job” was no longer satisfying and wanted something that my personal story might align with. I had struggled for many years after suffering a TBI after a serious car accident and it was devastating to lose memories of my family and to struggle with things that had been very easy for me before. Working for NeuroVision allows me to truly understand what our patients are going through and being able to help them deal with the arduous task of insurance claims. I feel very fortunate to have this team who have patiently guided me along. It’s gratifying to truly understand how our clients are feeling when they reach out to discuss the processes of continuing the therapy that were very much a part of my return to “normal”. I’m excited to work with a company that only sees up and beyond and the infinite possibilities of creating a better daily life with innovative programs and ever evolving new ideas!”
Kate comes to the Neurovision table with a journalism background in both print and broadcast and has enjoyed a long media career. Overcoming and thriving after her accident she hopes to bring empathy and understanding helping patients with the necessary documentation to get them through to their much needed assessments and therapies. She has four children that she adores and two grand babies that she spoils. Kate’s happy place is in the kitchen baking and watching Coronation Street!
